We will begin to work on the English site again if interest in it returns.

By Bartholomaeus Zippedaeus
Professor in history
At the University of Calendon – in the year 3450

This is the continuation of my famous work “The History of Néveri.” Here I will tell you what became of the land later known as Morania. How the other lands fared, I do not know, we only know which races occupy them, and even that is no certainty. The races here in Morania had to suffer famine, disease and other maladies, and understandably enough the different races migrated to various parts of the kingdom. The humans gathered in the north, where a young hero named Calen Stormblade assumed command and managed to get the humans to work together. This cooperation created Morania’s capital Calendon which was built in 3134. The citizens made Calen king and called this small part of the land ‘Morania’, a name the other races soon adopted. The high elves had withdrawn to the northern mountains in the realm, led by an elven warrior named Tharqauin. They soon finished building their capital Correntain. Tharqauin is still their king and one of the few who can tell about the war of the gods. The dwarves mainly gathered in the southern mountains where their old chieftain Tanor Steelfist was made king. Thanks to him, humans and dwarves began to trade.

Stormblade’s family ruled for many years until our present king, Cael Stormblade, disappeared as a child. The young general Fellon Ironfist ruled in his absence, but when the king returned only a few months ago, Fellon left him the throne and withdrew to Morania’s vast forests. Where our king has been has been extensively discussed, and I’m not the one to try and explain it. One thing is certain, however, a dreadful old legend has come true. During the war of the gods, wild rumours circled that wolf like creatures ravaged the battlefield. Many believed these wolves were Nisara’s creatures and obeyed her. Other claimed these wolves could not be killed even though many had tried, and that they could belong to the Beast, the Chaos god Therian! If he really escaped his prison cell before the war ended, I do not know. I can only hope and pray to the gods that it is not true, because if it is, our realm – indeed, the whole of Néveri – faces a grim future...

My name is Bartholomaeus Zippedaeus, and I have now finished my second work.
