The English pages are not updated. Please do not use the English lore texts for RPing in Néveri. We will begin to work on the English site again if interest in it returns. (The order in Morania, not all of Néveri) Leader of the order – humans The leader of Mikan’s order in Morania lives in Calendon. His name is Shemuel. He is a young man, only thirty and some years. He has worshipped Mikan his entire life, and has quickly risen within the order’s ranks. He is the one who has brought structure during the past five or six years. He can think alternatively and is often provocative in his behaviour. His looks reflect his personality well, he is dressed in bright colours, and has long hair which is always loose. He is not married, but often lives with several women at once.
Leader of the order – highelves The highelves do not have an official leader of Mikan’s order, since there is no Mikan temple in their city. Mikan’s temper doesn’t suit the highelves, and while some few of them worship him, they have never united in any kind of order.
Which kind of people are members? Their place in society, title/work etc. Usually people from the lower part of society are drawn to this order. It is a free order, that is, without rank, if one doesn’t count the order’s leader. There is a high degree of freedom and frivilousness, everybody live together and share their income with each other. Those of the order who doesn’t live in the temple, are usually travellers, and any Mikan temple or cloister welcomes them with open arms. Many entertainers, actors and travelling merchants are in the order. Most are hmans, but some wood elves can be found as well. There is approximately as many women as men in the order, and they do not differentiate between sexes.
Rank in the order As previously written the order has no ranking system, besides Shemuel who is the leader in the capital. There are some leaders in the few temples and cloisters scattered around Morania. But these leaders don’t do much more than keep the peace and organize the fellowship. They also administer the shared fortune which the order in that place possesses.
The buildings of the order The order’s main building in Calendon is a multicoloured building, which doesn’t really look like a temple, but more a theater or something similar. Mikan’s symbol is of course painted on the building. The cloisters and temples in the rest of Morania are more common, money is spent on parties, good food and wine, and not on the looks of their buildings – true to Mikan’s wishes. The order earn their living from helping the sick and from providing safe housing to travellers. Some also entertain in exchange for money in the villages, and some sell vegetables and fruit from the grounds of the monasteries. They are not wealthy, and they do not live in luxury, but they do enjoy life.
Where is the order’s head quarter, if there is one Shemuel has made Mikan’s temple in Calendon the order’s head quarter and he tries to keep abreast of what happens in the rest of the order. He doesn’t decide anything against the other members of the order, and it is difficult to get any officiel statements, which the whole order can agree upon.
The goals and priorities of the order As such the goal of the order is happiness. Each person must enjoy life and the lot one has been given. They do not have any political or religious goals, as long as their members enjoy life (and each other). They don’t find that one needs much more than that.
