The English pages are not updated.
Please do not use the English lore texts for RPing in Néveri.
We will begin to work on the English site again if interest in it returns.

How humans see the world in Morania – and possibly other realms.
I have sought in several books and spoken to both scholars and ordinary
citizens and have now wrote this document which explains how the humans in
Morania perceive the world we live in. Whether it is true, I cannot say.
Only the gods know the truth and I will not pester them with this
question, which I’m sure they would find quite boring. The earth as we
know it is immensely big and flat with a round shape – like a plate.
Certain mildly insane elves have claimed that the world of Néveri is round
– like a ball. But I find it obvious why we shouldn’t waste any more time
on that ridiculous idea!
As I said, the earth is flat, but where the edge is has been widely
discussed. However, one thing is certain: If you reach the edge, you fall
out. And if that happens, you will end up into Nothingness, the worst
possible place, where the chaos gods are locked in. Where the other gods
live, is pure guesswork. My own opinion about it is this:
The gods each have their own individual realm, which we mortals cannot
reach without help from them. Several priests seem to think that one’s
soul will migrate to whoever god one most believe in after death. Where
one without a god will end is guesswork, perhaps they are unfortunate
enough to end up in Nothingness with the chaos gods. That will serve them
right. The gods also have some kind of place where they meet, but where
that is I do not know. It is above the surface of Néveri, because anyone
knows that the god can look down upon us and watch over us, and even
interfere if something is not to their liking. The chaos gods, of course,
are excluded from all these places.
